Cavalese Waterfall
Il fascino rumoroso dell'imponente cascata di Cavalese
The waterfall is easily reached from the cycle path that runs along the Avisio river and is also well signposted on the “Fondovalle road”.
Nearby there is a convenient car park from where paths for pleasant walks start, allowing you to get close to the waterfall to admire all the power of the water up close.
Alternatively, you can make a loop tour starting from a little gem waiting to be discovered: the small village of Masi di Cavalese with its cobblestone streets, lovely villas and stone huts.
The walks near the Cavalese waterfall are immersed in the peace of Nature and lead to the small Rio Val Moena which, just before flowing into the Avisio river, gives rise to the Cavalese waterfall: a waterfall of just over 20 metres that plunges into a small lake.
The jumps and splashes of its wild waters make the air sparkling and invigorating.
