HISTORY
Stava 1985
In the 1930s, the area of Stava was already renowned for its prime location: close to the town centre, yet nestled in a peaceful oasis. It was here that the most prestigious hotels in Tesero, in the heart of Trentino, were located.
However, in 1985, tragedy struck this picturesque area, completely wiping out homes and hotels, including the original building of Hotel Erica.
Despite the devastation, thanks to the resilience and courage of the local hotel owners, Stava saw a rapid revival in the following years, returning as the central hub for hospitality in Tesero and becoming one of the top holiday destinations in the Dolomites and the beautiful Val di Fiemme.
